This presentation discusses decolonizing efforts in critical art-based research to unsettle the dominance of settler-oriented environmental and place-based views and practice as being in relation to the U.S. arboretum in particular. We provide Indigenous-centered, relational, anti-Anthropocene ecological knowledge and practice for justice-oriented environmental sustainability.
