Learn to compare and contrast alternative placements in community settings by addressing the top-down, in-and-out, make-and-take experiences often associated with community service learning. The presenters will share relevant examples of promoting service-learning opportunities that are inclusive to community participants' input for elevating artmaking and honoring preservice teacher decision making.
