2025 NAEA National Convention

ARTEFFECT is an expanding initiative of the Lowell Milken Family Foundation that invites educators and students to explore the inspiring stories of Unsung Heroes from history through the visual arts. ARTEFFECT offers an annual international art competition for students in grades 6-12, professional development, and exhibitions. These offerings aim to amplify the voices of students, engage educators, and inspire others through Unsung Heroes. ARTEFFECT encourages students to creatively engage with history, discovering their own ability to impact positive change as they celebrate overlooked stories and connect with role models who made a difference in the lives of others.
