About me
Hello, I am originally from the states but moved to Montreal in 2001 to finish my degree (after a 25 year break!) and change careers from designer to art educator. I graduate this June and hope to start an MFA program next fall. I am interested in Punk Pedagogies and trauma-informed pedagogy. In my research I look at how community care practices from the punk and hardcore scenes from the 1990s can contribute to the care of students with CPTSD in classrooms. I am an interdisciplinary installation artist. I enjoy incorporating performance, video, sound, sculpture and found objects into my works.
