Natalie Roig-McKnight is a dedicated fine arts educator and leader with extensive experience in arts instruction, curriculum development, and educational leadership. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design, an MA in Art Education, and advanced degrees in Instructional Leadership from the University of Alabama. Natalie is in the final leg of her Doctration in Instructional Leadership, with her dissertation focusing on leadership impact and support on art integration.
Currently serving as a Fine Art Specialist for Montgomery Public Schools, Natalie has spent over a decade shaping arts education, previously working as a Visual Arts Instructor and Department Chair at Paul W. Bryant High School. She contributed to state-level arts curriculum development and was a Certified Art Integration Trainer, promoting innovative teaching practices.
A passionate advocate for student engagement, she has advised the Art Honor Society and Art Club, secured various grants for fine arts programs, and presented at state and national arts education conferences. Recognized as District Four Teacher of the Year for 2017 - 2018 and was a top state finalist for State Teacher of the Year in 2017-2018, she remains committed to fostering creativity and excellence in arts education.
