About me
I am the Visual & Media Arts teacher at a Pk-5 elementary school in Dekalb County. My classroom is a choice-based art studio where the student is the artist and (Teaching for Artistic Behavior and Studio Habits of Mind). I am also an adjunct professor at The Art of Education University, where I typically teach the Master's degree final courses, Mission of Teaching and Captsone. My goal this year is to use interactive sketchbooks with my students to help with idea generation, skill-building, and confidence. I also hope to begin creating artwork alongside my students so they can observe how (adult) artists work.
