About me
David R. Modler is a maker/scholar/educator born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Education in Art Education from Towson State University, and taught art on the k-12 level for fifteen years. David has since earned a Master of Fine Arts in painting from James Madison University (JMU) in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and currently is appointed as a Professor of Art, Art Education Coordinator, and department chair at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
