About me
Mrs. Yvonne Lopez Taylor is an elementary art teacher and an advocate for art education. As the studio art teacher, she teaches art through literature, math, social studies, and science. She is constantly amazed by the work her students create and how they interpret the world. She was awarded 2021 Region 4 Elementary Teacher of the Year, 2020 Aldine ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year, and campus teacher of the year in 2016 and 2018, and 2020. Art, talking, and collaborating with others have always been a few of her favorite things. She also serves on the Aldine ISD Art Advisory Group and is a former Awards Chair for the Texas Art Educators Association.
