Hello!!
My name is Tammie. I’ve taught elementary art for 24 years on a cart, in a trailer, from a closet and in a classroom and I still love my job! It’s my second career- I was a visual merchandiser for 10 years.
I’m an Army brat who lives in North Alabama and am the 3x Past President of the AAEA. I’ve just been awarded the NAEA Marion Quin Dix Leadership Award and am the 2023 SE Art Educator of the Year.
My husband and I share two grown daughters and a granddaughter.
