About me
Emily Saleh is a tenured visual art and design educator at a high achieving dual-language immersion school (Spanish and Mandarin) in New Jersey. Emily holds a BFA from Syracuse University, majoring in Communication Design and Education. She is currently pursuing a Ed.M. in Education Leadership and Administration at Rutgers University. She is a NAEA School for Art Leader, former NAEA commissioner, and certified Responsive Classroom teacher. She’s published writings and presented across state and national associations. Her work is grounded in serving others through holistic and transformative centered research. Outside the classroom, Emily loves to meet new people and chat. She also explores various art media, and enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and sharing stories about cats.
