About me
Visual Art Teacher, Pickerington Central High School, Grades 9-12 Matt Young is committed to student success inside of the classroom and out in the real world. With a 30 year career teaching Ceramics, Sculpture, Jewelry, Computer Graphics, and AP art. I also serve as the department chairperson, and Western Region VP Elect. I believe that student success is created through meaningful relationships and connecting art work to real life experiences. I have presented for years at the NAEA Convention, The Art of Education, and various other educational conferences around the country. In addition, I have written articles for Davis Publications, NAEA, The Art of Education, and the Ohio Department of Education.
