2025 NAEA National Convention

Greetings! I am a dedicated educator with a passion for talent development in visual arts. A proud graduate of Drake University, I have been shaping young minds for 34 years across Texas and Iowa. My recent opportunities to serve include leading the Arts Network of the National Association of Gifted Children, and serving the National Art Education Association in two capacities—as a member in both the Print Materials Committee and the Research Commission’s Professional Learning through Research working group. My work in collaboration and service has been recognized through NAEA’s Western Region Middle Level Art Educator award in 2020 and in 2001 and NAEA’s Outstanding NJAHS Sponsor award in 2013.
